Why should I hire a coach if I'm not racing?
It can be hard to find the time or motivation to get out the door, even for a short run. By learning about your schedule, preferences, and needs, I can build a personalized plan that fits your schedule. I can also help find unexpected ways to include exercise in your day.
Also, a coach provides motivation, support, and accountability to help you get going, even on those days you’d rather sleep in and skip your run.
What distances do you coach?
I focus my run coaching on road and trail distances from 5K to 25K.
No Pain, No Gain, Amirite?
It depends. If you’re an athlete trying to push yourself to a personal best (PB) or long distance, then you’re probably going to experience some discomfort along the way.
But for folks who just want to get in some physical activity to feel better? No way! You definitely do not need to be in pain to make gains.
Can you do in-person coaching?
I conduct most of my training digitally using TrainingPeaks, email, and video calls. Give me a shout if you’re in northern Indiana and would like in-person coaching.
